JK's Auckland is the first golf facility in New Zealand to own the TrackMan Pro Fitting System & TrackMan Performance Studio, we have a purpose built bay and full array of demo clubs to make the most of this world leading technology.

Track Man is the worlds leading system for golf club analysis and distance measurement. It is used by all the leading equipment manufacturers and is in every Tour Van on the USPGA Tour.

It is impossible to overstate just how impressive and broad the impact this technology is having on golf through measurement, it has and continues to revolutionize club fitting.

Without getting too technical basically TrackMan is military grade technology that has been adapted to golf. It is a 3D Doppler Radar that takes upwards of 36,000 measurements per golf shot.

This is what allows TrackMan to be so accurate, within ½ a meter for every 175m in distance and within 15 rpm (revolutions per minute) spin rate.

You may ask yourself is this relative for the average golfer? The answer is an unequivocal yes! Distance gains with a driver for the average golfer going through the TrackMan Driver Fitting process is between 10m to 20m. Distance gain also means straighter shots, as a properly fitted driver is one that also goes straighter.

Driver Fitting is only part of what TrackMan allows us to do but it is always best to start there as who doesn’t want to hit the ball further and straighter!

Further to the fitting side of TrackMan we are now able to accurately measure your entire golf bag, which is extremely exciting for the following reasons…

Most if not all golfers have “gaps” in there bags, distances that are either too great or too small between clubs, this often results in players having 2 to 3 clubs that all go a similar distance. Then there is the other extreme were too larger gaps are found a common one being between the P.W and Sand Iron (20m or more apart). All this adds up to players not being close to utilizing the 14 clubs in their bag and therefore making a tough game even harder.

A properly fitted set of clubs really does make the game easier along with the knowledge of how far each of those clubs does carry, it allows you to go out and play with greater confidence secure in the knowledge that you have a club for the shots you encounter on any given day.
