CALLAWAYS LONGEST TOUR BALL With penetrating trajectories and fast ball speed this is Callaway’s longest Tour ball. It uses a Dual Core to achieve optimised performance for through-the-bag shot consistency. By activating a soft yet resilient inner core on drives, spin is reduced for longer shots while still delivering spin around the greens using the firmer outer core and soft urethane cover. HEX AERODYNAMICS Created by Nature, Perfected by Callaway
Similar to honeycomb covering a beehive, Callaway’s patented HEX Aerodynamics produce 100% surface area coverage on a golf ball whereas traditional round dimples typically cover only 88% of the surface. Dead space between dimples can cause inefficient flight characteristics so HEX geometries cover the entire ball to reduce drag and cut through the air with a strong, penetrating ball flight.
SPIN OPTIMIZATION Dual Core construction produces “spin optimization” – the difference between high short game spin and low driver spin – crucial for optimum performance. Featured in Tour i Series balls, Dual Core technology uses two cores with different compressions in one ball, so golfers can keep driver spin low while still producing short iron spin.
INERTIA TECHNOLOGY Inertia Technology in the Tour i(z) Golf Ball involves moving weight to the perimeter of the golf ball.
